INSPECTING POTENTIAL PROPERTIES:  TIME INDEFINITE

WRITING THE OFFER:  ONE TO TWO HOURS

NEGOTIATING THE OFFER:  ONE TO FIVE DAYS

BRINGING THE CONTRACT TO CLOSING BY MEETING ALL CONDITIONS:  4-6 WEEKS
During this time the following events usually take place:

• Loan application, qualification and commitment
• Inspections completed and repairs made if necessary
• Property surveyed
• Property appraised
• Title analyzed and title insurance commitment issued
• Obtain homeowner's insurance
